Metabolic Clustering and Enrichment
This tool evaluates the association of a given gene with the metabolic network based on similarities in gene expression, according to Nanda et al., 2023. If the entry is a metabolic network gene from iCEL1314, the output is a cluster heatmap of the gene with closely associated genes in the model. If the entry is not an iCEL1314 gene, but is in our database, then an enrichment of similar genes in metabolic pathways is provided.
- Enter WormBase ID, name or sequence of the gene you are looking for.
- Use the drop-down menu to indicate stringency level of clustering (useful only for iCEL1314 genes). Stringent clustering tends to yield tight clusters of very similar genes, while Relaxed clustering shows further associations using lenient clustering parameters.
- Enter a False Discovery Rate (FDR) threshold for enrichment (useful only for non-iCEL1314 genes).
